The Spires Nursery
specialises in rare
and unusual perennials
and we feature a
wide and very interesting
range of these plants.
• This
unique collection
has been sourced
by our grower from
across the world
and includes many
rare and hard-to-find
plants.These are
trialed in gardens
at our grower's
nursery in Victoria,
prior to release.
•
Many of these plants
have never been
available on the
Australian market
before and are exclusive
to our nursery.
• The rare
and unusual perennials
collection features
over 130 varieties
of plants including
many interesting
hellebores, bulbs
and alpines.
• In general,
perennials are
very under-rated
plants, as in
many cases they
are adaptable
to a variety of
climate and soil
types.
There are also
many different
varieties that
are suited to
either shade,
part-shade or
full sun. Many
of the varieties
that we carry
are also very
drought tolerant,
once established.
• We are
currently showing
just a few of
the interesting
plants here on
this page as the
availability of
all of the individual
varieties depends
on the season.
