new
species - new reliability |
•
Grafted Grevilleas
are fast becoming
popular feature
plants as the potential
of these beautiful
(and often rare)
plants is increasingly
appreciated by growers
and gardeners alike.
• Grafting
onto more reliable
rootstock allows
many spectacular
Grevillea varieties
to be grown and
enjoyed in a much
wider range of soils
and climates. In
particular, it has
allowed many unique
and interesting
Western Australian
species to be grown
reliably on the
East Coast without
the problems often
associated with
humid summers and
fungal issues.
• Several
very desirable tropical
Grevilleas have
also been grafted
to allow for more
widespread cultivation
in cooler southern
areas. These include
G. formosa
which has the largest
flowers of the genus. |

spectacular
flowers & foliage |
•
Varieties chosen
for grafting generally
possess very desirable
or unusual features
(to justify the
extra work and cost
of grafting!) Many
have spectacular
floral displays
and several flower
throughout the year
Others have interesting
foliage like the
endangered G.
caleyi,
while many have
both interesting
foliage and flowering
- like G.
insignis, G. flexuosa,
G. thyrsoides, G.
plurijuga,
G. dryandroides,
G. repens
and G. nudiflora.

Grafting not only
allows rare and
difficult to grow
species to be enjoyed
in more gardens
but also tends to
produce more reliable,
more vigorous, more
floriferous and
earlier flowering
plants. With an
expanding range
now available there
is a hardy, reliable,
feature plant option
for any role in
most gardens. And
they have very low
water requirements
once established! |

a
great range - every
day of the year |
•
Don't waste time
struggling in crowds
at rare plant sales
to purchase small,
barely established
plants with no labels
or support information
- we have a great
range of rare and
unusual grafted
grevilleas on hand
everyday of the
year for you to
browse through at
your leisure.

• All plants
stocked are large,
well established
and healthy - in
200mm pots.
• Most
varieties are presented
with a full colour
picture label and
additional printed
information and
images are also
available in the
nursery to help
you find the perfect
grafted option.
• All
varieties stocked
have been grown
and tested in local
South Coast summer
humidity conditions
- and many are also
currently being
tested in our Canberra
trial garden.
• Delivery
interstate is available to
some areas of NSW,
VIC and the ACT.
However because
of the larger size
of our grafted grevilleas
(usually in 200mm
pots) we do not
currently mail these
plants. As a result
delivery to regional
areas and SA, WA
and QLD is often
not possible.
